According to their site, “Heritage Foods USA was formed in 2001 as the sales and marketing arm for Slow Food USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating regional cuisines and products. In 2004 it became an independent company dedicated to saving not only turkeys but also Native American foods, pigs, sheep, bison, cows, reef-net salmon, goats and all breeds of food livestock.”

check out a map of their farmers broken down by location and specialty.

they also have a turkey cam.   t-cam was down when i visited but such is to be expected from bleeding-edge  technology.
